Hamilton Eat Local marks Earth Day, April 22nd

Earth Day would not be complete without Hamilton's local food map! We will be attending Earth Day Hamilton's events throughout the week that marks Earth Day. On April 23rd and 24th, we will be an exhibitor at the Eco-Festival for schools held at the Royal Botanical Garden.
We will also be at the Earth Day walk and tree planting at Princess Point on April 26th. For more information please visit Earth Day Hamilton's website at: http://earthday.rpg-works.net/ED/index.php?page=home

Summer's near......

And with that comes all the festivals and special events that Hamilton Eat Local! Like last year, we will be traveling all over Hamilton and area promoting our 2008 local food map. Some of the events we may just turn up at: the Ottawa Street Farmers' Market launch, Niagara Fruit Education Centre events, Winona Peach Festival, Locke Street Festival, the Labour Day parade, and many more. Make sure you look for us!
