On October 16th, 2007 Hamilton Eat Local hosted a Harvest Breakfast to mark World Food Day. Hosted at the Bread & Roses Cafe in downtown Hamilton, the breakfast included delicious fare from local producers including: Dearsley's Meats, Puddicombe Estate Farms & Winery, Plan B Organic Farm, Carluke Orchards, and Speakeasy Fair-Trade Organic Coffee Roastery. Hamilton Eat Local's dear friend, Julian Radlein of the Hamilton Tiger Cats attended the breakfast and enjoyed his share of the delicious food.
We collected non-perishable food items for Hamilton Food Share. Thanks to everyone who attended!
