Hamilton Eat Local's new display, generously sponsored by Hamilton Economic Development, was enveiled at the Earth Day Hamilton's events during the week of April 22nd.
We attended both days of the school activities at the Royal Botanical Gardens. We quizzed the kids on where they think their food comes from and how far it might have travelled. It wasn't hard to convince them that taking a trip to a local farm would be fun.
I also went to the Tree Planting and Fun Run/Walk organized by Earth Day Hamilton. While the poor weather prediction kept some at home, the event was still well attended.
